It's not even a cube, it doesn't have square faces.

Measure from ground level, and of course it isn;t a cube.

Measure according to the building - footings, swimming pool depth - it probably goes down into the ground almost as much as it goes up above the ground.

Not a cube, but nearly. A building like this in Canada would take a generation to build. The Chinese just did it.
