I'm not impressed, a candle flame burns at 1800 degrees Kelvin... A candle puts out a good bit of power...

No not at all, what I am saying is having a 1800 degree candle to work with... Pretty much anyone should be able to make something that works this well if not better... This little engine is not any kinda mechanical break threw or anything like that... You won't be seeing a big one of these engines under the bonnet of your car in the next few years... As a matter of fact, right here is probably the last time you will ever see this engine...

I have seen variations in designs of different sterling engines. There exists sterling engines that can recharge cell phones, i pods and other small electronic devices. For it's simplicity, it is a cool invention.
