The Goblin shark is a truly strange shark. It is not hard to understand how it got its name when you see it since it looks like something out of a horror movie, like a representation of a demon or a goblin. The Goblin shark has only been encountered a few times and very little is known about this shark. What is know is that it is a slow moving deep sea shark that lives on depth of about 1200m /4000ft in Seas around the world. Goblin sharks have been observed in western Indian Ocean, western Pacific Ocean and most of the Atlantic.
