Alkali Metal Reactions
Alkali metals are extremely reactive, often explosively. Watch the reactions of the Alkali metals with both air and water. Be sure to watch until the end for the biggest bang!

Years ago we ran a clip on Alkali metals from the show Brainiac. Turns out they faked it and used explosives to increase the scale of the reaction (drastically). We apologize for airing this incorrect footage and swiftly removed the offending content the moment we learned of the deception. Enjoy this accurate video!
